Our Story
Where tradition meets innovation, past meets present, India meets भारत.
Two sisters, one dream
Chamkiley Store was born out of a shared passion between two sisters — Avinanda and Annyesha — who believed that Indian culture deserves to be worn, not just preserved. Under their venture Kalakavya Ecommerce LLP, they set out to bridge the gap between traditional Indian heritage and the modern, vibrant youth of today.
While their parent brand Kalakavya.in celebrates India's rich artistic traditions — Pattachitra of Odisha, Madhubani of Bihar, Gond tribal art, and Rajasthani miniatures — Chamkiley Store takes a different route. We bring that same cultural pride into streetwear that you can wear every day.
“We don't just make t-shirts. We make you wear your language, your city, your vibe.”
— Avinanda & Annyesha, Co-founders
What “Chamkiley” means
“Chamkiley” (चमकीले) means shining, vibrant, eye-catching. The brand that speaks your language — literally. Every design on our tees captures the slangs, emotions, and inside jokes of Indian cities. From Kolkata's “Ektu adjust koro” to Mumbai's “Kasa Kay” to Bangalore's “Swalpa adjust maadi” — we turn the way India actually talks into wearable art.
Part of something bigger
Chamkiley Store is one half of the Kalakavya vision. Together, our brands form a complete picture:
